Key Responsibilities

In This Role, Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Developing and programming solutions in Python to enhance enterprise applications.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive system documentation, performing unit testing, and conducting peer reviews of code.
• Assessing, testing, and integrating third-party products to enhance functionality.
• Implementing IT controls to protect application data and uphold system integrity.
• Designing and constructing scalable and reliable RESTful APIs using Python.
• Managing batch file processing, including scheduling and optimizing associated processes.
• Collaborating with team members to evaluate and select libraries and technologies that fulfill both technical and business requirements.
• Working across various database platforms such as SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra.
  
  

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proficient knowledge of SQL scripting, advanced database management, and querying techniques.
• Expertise in Python programming, particularly in developing REST APIs and processing batch files.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting and familiarity with Hadoop environments.
• Proficiency in PySpark and managing extensive datasets (millions of records).
• A solid understanding of the systems development life cycle, with experience in unit testing, release management, and change control processes.
