Remote Technical PM for Generative AI Solutions

Job Overview

We are actively seeking a seasoned Project Manager to spearhead initiatives within our Generative AI Center of Excellence (COE). This pivotal role will encompass the comprehensive lifecycle management of Generative AI projects, from initial intake and evaluation to successful delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a unique ability to integrate technical project management with strategic alignment to business objectives, ensuring that AI innovations effectively support our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete process of Generative AI use case intake, assessment, and implementation, employing standardized templates and frameworks for clarity and consistency.
• Oversee project timelines, financials, and risk management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Facilitate the integration of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and refine pre-trained models, collaborating closely with data scientists and engineers.
• Establish and monitor project-specific KPIs, alongside business metrics, to evaluate project success and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop mechanisms for feedback to track AI model performance, addressing drift and bias while facilitating model retraining when necessary.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to align AI project objectives with overarching business strategies.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks inherent to AI projects, maintaining open communication with stakeholders through regular updates and dashboards.
  
  

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience managing engineering or software development projects, preferably within an Agile framework.
• Practical knowledge of Generative AI technologies, including Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with RAG architecture, API development, and tools such as LangChain and Hugging Face.
• Strong understanding of risk management practices related to AI, particularly in monitoring model drift and performance.
• Proficiency in data pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and software development methodologies.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams that include business analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.
• Solid grounding in Agile project management principles and AI/ML technologies.

• Preferred certifications in Agile, Scrum, or AI-focused disciplines.
