Senior Manager Project - Remote Solar (PV | WFH)

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to spearhead utility-scale Solar PV projects across the United States. This senior-level position uniquely integrates strategic project oversight with robust client engagement, ensuring the timely and successful execution of all assigned projects. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team of engineers and designers, applying your expertise in PVSyst and other advanced modeling software to provide top-tier power generation solutions. Furthermore, you will play an instrumental role in promoting renewable energy initiatives, contributing to diverse projects encompassing Solar, Wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of utility-scale Solar PV projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and completion.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, cultivating long-term relationships and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
• Lead and develop a team of technical engineers and designers, assisting them in leveraging PVSyst and other modeling software effectively.
• Strategically manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment between project objectives and client expectations.
• Offer thought leadership in the renewable energy landscape, contributing to Solar, Wind, and BESS initiatives and disseminating best practices across teams.
• Identify potential project risks and devise innovative solutions to address challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in managing utility-scale Solar PV projects, with a proven history of successful project delivery.
• Strong client management skills, adept at fostering and maintaining high-level client relationships across multiple projects.
• Proficiency in PVSyst and other Solar PV modeling software.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in guiding and developing technical teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Significant experience overseeing utility-scale Solar PV projects, showcasing a track record of successful outcomes.
• Proven leadership experience in managing and developing technical teams.
