Job Overview

We are actively searching for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to spearhead and manage utility-scale Solar PV projects throughout the United States. This prestigious senior role involves a blend of strategic project management and client relationship building, ensuring the seamless execution and successful delivery of projects. In this capacity, you will lead a talented team of engineers and designers, leveraging your expertise in PVSyst and other advanced modeling software to provide top-tier power generation solutions. Furthermore, you will play an essential role in propelling renewable energy initiatives forward, contributing not only to Solar projects but also to Wind and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of utility-scale Solar PV projects, beginning from initial planning and design, all the way to implementation and delivery.
  • Act as the principal liaison for clients, fostering enduring relationships and ensuring their satisfaction at the highest level.
  • Guide and mentor a team of technical engineers and designers, aiding them in the design process and optimizing their use of PVSyst and other modeling tools.
  • Strategically oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to enhance efficiency and meet established timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the alignment of project objectives with both client and organizational goals.
  • Provide thought leadership within the renewable energy sector, contributing to initiatives in Solar, Wind, and BESS, while sharing best practices across teams.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement innovative solutions to address challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in PVSyst and other modeling software for Solar PV projects.
  • Strong experience in client-facing roles, adept at managing high-level client relationships across various projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and nurturing technical teams.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to excel in a remote work setting while managing multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field; advanced degree is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in managing utility-scale Solar PV projects, with a proven record of successful project outcomes.
  • Strong leadership abilities, complemented by excellent communication and relationship management skills.
