Key Responsibilities
- Accurately record daily financial transactions, including:
- Processing weekly payroll
- Managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Handling daily remote deposits
- Reconciling monthly bank accounts
- Verifying and posting supplier transactions
- Creating and managing invoices
- Maintaining organized records through appropriate filing
- Preparing financial reports, including monthly and year-end close
- Upholding established bookkeeping policies and procedures
- Assisting in documentation for construction projects
- Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Appfolio
- Experience handling AIA documents is a plus
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business, or a similar discipline is preferred
- Established communication and customer service skills, particularly in technical and financial contexts
- Ability to work effectively within spreadsheets and databases
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and expense reporting
