Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will engage with a wide array of clients, including commercial real estate developers, financial institutions, and landlords/tenants. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Representing clients in intricate real estate transactions, with an emphasis on acquisitions and dispositions, particularly in the realm of purchase and sale agreements.
- Navigating construction, acquisition, and mezzanine financing matters.
- Overseeing commercial leasing processes, particularly concerning anchor and junior-anchor shopping center lease transactions.
- Facilitating construction and development projects, which includes drafting and negotiating AIA construction documents.
- Creating and negotiating easement agreements, declarations, and association documents.
- Managing survey, title, and due diligence review processes.
- Conducting comprehensive research and delivering strategic analysis to assist client objectives.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A solid foundation in multiple areas of law, including Family Law, Environmental Law, Immigration Law, and Securities Law.
- Exceptional legal judgment paired with robust business acumen, particularly in commercial real estate law.
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities, facilitating the development and maintenance of client relationships.
- A strong work ethic, capable of managing files independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
- Active licensure to practice law in Florida, maintaining good standing with the Florida Bar.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
