We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Claims Representative II - Auto Adjuster to become a vital member of our team. This role is essential for managing our claims process, where you will investigate, assess, and resolve auto casualty claims, ensuring fairness and efficiency in every case.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of auto casualty claims originating from personal, commercial, and farm exposures.
- Collect high-quality recorded statements while identifying potential fraudulent claims.
- Analyze contracts and establish suitable case reserves promptly.
- Maintain professional and effective communication with policyholders, claimants, and agents through various channels including phone, written correspondence, and in-person meetings.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to deliver fair and accurate claim outcomes.
- Execute field inspections as required, either personally or via referrals.
- Proficient in investigating, evaluating, and negotiating auto casualty claims.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with policyholders, claimants, and agents.
- Capability to perform field inspections effectively.
- Familiarity with contract interpretation and case reserve setting.
- Bilingual skills are a valuable asset.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with a minimum of 5 years in auto claims handling.
- Prior experience in bodily injury and/or property damage claims is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid issues and auto body estimating are considered advantageous.
- A valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record is required.
