Overview

We are on the lookout for a passionate and skilled attorney to become part of our team as an Associate Legal Advisor within the Labor and Employment Division (LELD) located in Washington, D.C. This role provides the potential for local remote work arrangements for candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of our office and is eligible for telework.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert legal counsel, training, and assistance on Federal employment law matters to various programs, including senior officials.
• Act as agency counsel in both administrative and judicial matters.
• Manage intricate third-party proceedings and offer legal insights to high-ranking officials.
• Preference will be given to those with experience in Federal labor and employment law.
  
  

Qualifications

• Candidates must be U.S. citizens and active members in good standing of the bar in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Applicants should hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
• Strong legal analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to function both independently and collaboratively are essential.
