Key Responsibilities
- Process Hawaii regular system and Land Court deeds efficiently, along with managing relevant filings with the Bureau of Conveyances using e-filing software.
- Offer expert guidance to clients on real estate closing matters, ensuring they receive comprehensive support throughout the transaction.
- Draft, review, and modify various real estate documents, including commercial leases and purchase agreements.
- Conduct title searches and prepare preliminary title reports, when applicable.
- Organize and maintain client files within our practice management system for optimal efficiency and accessibility.
- Communicate professionally and swiftly with clients and third parties to build and sustain strong relationships.
- Proficiency in e-filing software and an in-depth understanding of Hawaii real estate procedures.
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and closing processes.
- Exceptional communication skills paired with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
- Familiarity with conducting title searches and preparing preliminary title reports is preferred.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in real estate law or a related field is highly desirable.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience is mandatory; candidates with a background as escrow officers without prior paralegal experience will also be evaluated.
