Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements within the loan processing system, enhancing efficiency while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the loan pipeline proactively, ensuring timely closings and fundings, while consistently exceeding expectations.
- Collaborate effectively with various teams within Real Estate Lending and Compliance to facilitate seamless operations and continuous enhancements.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities, complemented by strong communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of first mortgage loan production, including conventional, FHA, and VA loan products.
- Proficient pipeline management skills, adept at navigating tight deadlines while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Solid understanding of mortgage lending compliance, encompassing Reg B, TRID, ECOA, FCRA, and other relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with mortgage lending LOS platforms and the impact of technology on lending processes.
- A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in mortgage lending processing and/or closing is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a mortgage production team.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in developing comprehensive and regulatory compliant procedures.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
