Employment Type: Full-Time
We are in search of a skilled Trust and Estate Administration Paralegal, possessing a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, to join our esteemed team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of estate and trust administration, including probate (experience in New Jersey, New York, and Florida probate is advantageous)
- Build and maintain robust relationships through regular communication with clients, financial planners, and accountants
- Prepare federal and state estate tax returns as well as fiduciary accountings
- Aid in the distribution of estate assets and the funding of trusts
- Outstanding communication and mathematical abilities
- Proficiency in estate tax software (such as ONESOURCE/Fast Tax), HotDocs, and Microsoft Word is preferred
- Strong organizational capabilities with an aptitude for prioritizing tasks and collaborating effectively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A college degree and/or paralegal certification is preferred
- Candidates holding a JD or those currently pursuing a paralegal qualification will also be considered
