Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead organizational change management (OCM) and process improvement projects for our esteemed federal government clients. This role entails the implementation of strategies designed to optimize operations, elevate organizational performance, and drive significant business transformations. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, facilitating business process reengineering, and guiding clients through extensive change management initiatives that yield enhanced operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Oversee and direct OCM and process improvement programs across diverse departments and projects, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, facilitating transparent communication regarding project objectives, progress, and challenges.
  • Change Management Strategy: Formulate and execute comprehensive change management plans, including readiness assessments, communication strategies, human capital evaluations, and training programs.
  • Process Improvement: Assess existing client processes to pinpoint inefficiencies and create impactful solutions to enhance operational performance.
  • Team Management: Supervise a diverse array of consultants, analysts, and program staff, ensuring timely achievement of project goals and milestones.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigation to ensure the smooth execution of process improvement initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of ongoing improvement by identifying continuous opportunities for enhancing business processes.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for client inquiries and escalations, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with a robust focus on OCM and process improvement initiatives, preferably in the federal government or public sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; a Master's degree in business, organizational development, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a prerequisite.
  • Change Management certifications such as Prosci or CCMP are highly desirable.
  • PMP or PgMP certification is essential.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale OCM initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of business process reengineering (BPR) methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with organizational changes and process improvement programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance is required.
  • Familiarity with federal agencies, particularly in the domain of organizational transformations and process optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card is a requirement.
