As an Associate Project Manager within our esteemed Public Sector division, you will be integral to the planning, direction, and coordination of implementation projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful achievement of project goals and client objectives, delivered within established timelines, scopes, and budgets, while adhering to proven project management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the project Statement of Work (SOW) to evaluate schedule, budget, resource allocations, and overall strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with Solution Consultants to establish and meet project objectives.
- Manage scope expectations through clear communication of any changes to all relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key personnel.
- Prepare and present Project Change Requests in response to scope or contract modifications.
- Create and uphold an implementation Project Plan that governs the project from inception to completion.
- Facilitate bi-weekly sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings with cross-functional project teams.
- Coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams to ensure projects remain on time and within budget.
- Maintain and update resource and project forecasts for the team’s portfolio of engagements.
- Identify, monitor, and resolve project risks and issues promptly, escalating as needed.
- Lead project planning and status meetings for clients and management.
- Communicate project progress and timelines to both internal and external stakeholders through detailed status reports.
- Orchestrate efforts to align custom solutions across departments, incorporating multi-departmental tasks into the overarching Project Plan.
- Establish criteria for evaluating project deliverables and review for completeness.
- Maintain project documentation in a shared repository for comprehensive accessibility.
- Proactively lead, coach, and motivate team members to foster a collaborative environment.
- Document and disseminate lessons learned at the conclusion of each project.
- Contribute to internal PMO discussions and apply insights gained to refine project processes.
- Perform additional responsibilities as directed by leadership.
