Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement structured activities that align with each child’s individualized treatment plan.
- Facilitate the acquisition and practice of vital daily living and social skills.
- Assist children in completing daily living tasks as required.
- Guide children in resolving everyday challenges.
- Provide transportation and accompany children to various activities and appointments.
- Deliver services in both individual and group contexts as needed.
- Complete all mandated training to become a Medicaid-approved Behavioral Interventionist specialist, along with additional agency training.
- Maintain ongoing communication with foster parents and case managers regarding scheduling and session frequency.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and up-to-date auto insurance.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience in healthcare and/or welfare services is an advantage.
- Familiarity with working with clients who have complex mental health needs at risk of hospitalization is a plus.
