Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert programmatic leadership and serve as the primary authority for medical services contracts at designated medical units.
- Oversee and support personnel, ensuring effective onboarding and continuous development.
- Manage staffing and scheduling to guarantee adequate medical coverage and efficient operation of medical units.
- Develop and implement logistics and procurement strategies to ensure operational readiness of medical units.
- Champion quality and safety initiatives by maintaining risk management programs and overseeing medical event reporting.
- Identify opportunities for performance enhancement and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements to maintain accountability and transparency.
- Participate in the recruitment process for contract employees, fostering a skilled and dedicated workforce.
- Organize training sessions for medical staff to enhance their competencies and service delivery.
- Uphold confidentiality standards as mandated by HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations.
- Stay informed of pertinent policies and directives from DHS and CBP to ensure operational alignment.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of management experience within healthcare services.
- Strong analytical, planning, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in logistical planning and operational support.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven experience managing diverse teams in high-pressure settings.
- Effective leadership, negotiation, and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Relevant management or Human Resources certifications (PMP, CPC, CSP, etc.) are preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical documentation is advantageous.
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident Card is required.
