Key Responsibilities
- Provide authoritative programmatic leadership for medical services contracts at designated medical units.
- Oversee the progress and management of assigned personnel, ensuring effective vetting and orientation processes.
- Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate operational coverage within medical units.
- Develop and implement logistics and procurement strategies for assigned medical units.
- Uphold quality and safety standards through comprehensive risk management and reporting programs.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement and spearhead the development of best practices.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operations and outcomes.
- Participate actively in the recruitment and selection process for contract employees.
- Organize and coordinate in-service training programs for medical staff.
- Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations.
- Stay informed of relevant policies, procedures, and directives from DHS and CBP.
- Strong analytical, planning, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven capability to manage diverse teams in high-pressure settings.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Familiarity with electronic medical documentation systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of two years of management experience in healthcare services.
- Relevant management or Human Resources certifications (PMP, CPC, CSP, etc.) are preferred.
- U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident Card is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (current clearance preferred).
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is advantageous.
