We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Infant Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team as we strive to support the healthy development of infants and toddlers. This remote position offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young children and their families through essential mental health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and identify mental health challenges using established assessment tools and collaboration with community partners.
- Prepare detailed reports as needed.
- Make informed treatment recommendations and collaborate with Case Managers for referrals.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with established guidelines.
- Compile and submit weekly statistical service reports.
- Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to discuss client treatment and progress.
- Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Actively participate in weekly supervision sessions.
- Deliver services primarily through home visits or telehealth, actively engaging with youth and families.
- Master's degree and valid licensure (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
- Experience delivering individual, family, and group therapy to diverse populations.
- Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience working with infants and toddlers.
- Proficiency in utilizing relationship-based, infant-family mental health approaches.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide adequate transportation for home visits, along with a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Licensed professional training in LLPC, LPC, LLMSW, LMSW, LLP, or LP is required.
- One year of experience in Infant Mental Health is mandatory.
