Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care by performing precise and efficient phlebotomy procedures, including blood draws and EKGs.
- Ensure a smooth patient experience by greeting and checking in patients, verifying insurance details, and addressing any inquiries.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace, managing inventory and preparing exam rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
- Provide essential administrative support through scheduling, data entry, and other related tasks.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by working closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and staff to support seamless workflows.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- A patient-centered and positive approach to care.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist (excluding training and externships).
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Additional qualifications such as phlebotomy certification and experience with extended scope care (e.g., EKGs, vaccinations) are advantageous.
