Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers within the renewable energy sector.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to monitor trends, pricing, and competition, ensuring advantageous contract acquisition.
- Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process from the creation of bid packages to proposal evaluations and contract negotiations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, optimize costs, and boost efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, development, project management, and legal departments, to guarantee successful project execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster and maintain robust supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with contract law and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, facilitating effective project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles within the renewable energy sector is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing intricate procurement projects and negotiating contracts successfully.
- CPSM or similar professional certification is a plus.
