Customer Service Representative (Escape Room Guide)

The best part time job you will ever have. Flexible hours, fun work environment, and snacks are provided! The game master's role is to facilitate a group's escape room experience. This includes speaking to large or small groups, delivering hints in a helpful manner, and ensuring the enjoyment of each group. Applicants should be outgoing, energetic, and able to work with a wide range of people.

We have a great need for employees who can work the following shifts:

Afternoon Shift (12:00-5:00pm)
Evening Shift (5:00-10:00pm)

Escape rooms are a fun and highly interactive experience, and the Game Master (GM) is the MVP of every team. They set the scene by explaining the mission the team is about to try and accomplish, establishing the rules, and applying the pressure to escape in 60 minutes. Once that has been explained, the groups are placed into the escape room and GMs monitor the group from security cameras in a separate room to make sure they are following the rules and providing hints as requested/required. Once the group has finished the GM will take the group out, reset, and start all over again.

This position is considered "on-call." We have a set schedule for all of our rooms, and customers can make a reservation up until 1 hour prior to the scheduled time. Thus, as a GM you have an hour's notice prior to when you would need to come in and work (i.e. by 4:45pm you would know if you have a 5:45pm game). That being said, GMs do not get paid to be on-call, only for when they are called in; hours are not guaranteed--the average is between 10-25 hours a week.
