Job Summary:
The Legal Recruiter will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates of all legal positions. Successful candidates will be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Manage priorities for job openings and candidate flow according to established guidelines. This includes opening and posting new positions, dispositioning candidates, and closing filled positions.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Draft and maintain job descriptions as needed.
- Assists with job posting and advertising processes.
- Understands needs/ requirements for each position, screens applications, and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Gather, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
- Establishes recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools.
- Proposes approaches to alternative sources of applicants to fill open positions.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Special projects as requested by the Director of Human Resources.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 1-2 years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience, with agency recruiting experience preferred but not required.
- Proven track record in designing and executing innovative recruiting strategies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Passionate about finding the right candidate for the right role at the right time.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels of management and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective negotiation and customer service abilities.
- Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; ability to learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Familiarity with recruiting metrics, tools, and industry laws/regulations.
- Ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies for various roles.
- Proactive, independent, and able to take initiative.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Capable of setting and achieving both short- and long-term goals.
