About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for all planning and scheduling activities within our production department. This includes generating and maintaining weekly production plans, adjusting schedules as needed to mitigate risk of product shortages, and ensuring each planning operation meets production and shipping dates according to customer orders and lead times.
Key responsibilities will include analyzing back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and people skills, and experience working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Requirements for the position include 5 years of experience in an inventory-based ERP system, working in a production-based facility, and 3-5 years of related scheduling experience in a food manufacturing environment. A B.A. Degree is preferred, but not required.
