Position Summary:
The Service Coordinator is responsible for organizing and overseeing the scheduling, dispatching, and completion of all HVAC maintenance activities. This role involves collaborating with technicians, customers, and the management team to ensure effective communication and smooth operational processes. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance service calls, ensuring that technician routes are optimized for efficiency.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding maintenance schedules, updates, and inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of service schedules, contracts, and maintenance histories.
- Assist in dispatching service technicians and providing them with the necessary information and resources.
- Track maintenance progress and ensure timely completion of scheduled services.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, including performance metrics and completed work.
- Support the service team by managing the availability of required tools and parts for each job.
- Address and resolve any customer service issues related to maintenance appointments.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Advance workorders to the next step, as necessary.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Education or certifications in HVAC, preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred:
- Experience in service coordination
- HVAC experience/knowledge/education/certifications/training
- Knowledge of HVAC terminology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
