JOB DESCRIPTION
- Works in the teacher role in the classroom in the teacher’s absence.
- Implements caregiving routines.
- Assists in food service including meal set-up and clean-up.
- Performs tasks that promote a clean, safe, fun, and orderly environment.
- Assists children with bathroom procedures.
- Supervises children at all times according to federal, state, and local mandates.
- Physical ability (able to exert up to 30 pounds of force) and dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
POSITION DETAILS
- Reports To: Spark Academy Director
- Position: Substitute
- Compensation: $13.00 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to fulfill all North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (NCDCDEE) requirements to work in a licensed child care program.
