Description
GK Real Estate is looking to hire a Senior Property Manager for the Columbia Mall. This role will set the tone and culture of our center to ensure success in customer service, profitability, operations, and staffing.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily operations for the center, including overseeing general property maintenance and appearance
- Managing third party vendors including cleaning, security, landscaping, snow removal, and other outside maintenance vendors
- Managing tenant construction activities by working with suppliers, service and construction contractors
- Developing staff to reach their full potential and become a high-performing team in the areas of customer service and maintenance
- Preparing and adhering to the annual budget, managing financial aspects such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll and control of expenses
- Establishing and maintaining excellent customer service and tenant relations within the center and assisting with leasing/marketing strategies.
- Establishing yourself in the community as a local business leader and assist in the attraction of businesses to the property
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or higher
- Four to seven years’ general management experience in the retail, hospitality or property management industry
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate workload while resolving issues
- Experience bidding out remodeling and construction projects
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written skills, as well as listening skills
- Ability to train, develop, lead and inspire a team of talented individuals
- Effective change management and problem solving ability plus willingness to take on a challenge
- Familiarity with construction plans and specifications is a plus
- Experience with Yardi software is a plus
