Join Glacial Ridge Health System as an IT Support Center Technician in Glenwood, MN. In this key role, you’ll provide on-the-floor support to hospital and clinic staff within the organization’s desktop computing environment, as well as manage preventive maintenance protocols. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading desktop-related software and hardware to ensure optimal workstation performance. IT Support Center Technician will also work with other communication systems such as phones, patient portal, and voice recognition applications, with on-site training provided. Work Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 4:30p, with rotating evening and weekend on-call schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems, across a range of software applications.
- Assist all our users with any logged IT related incident when called upon.
- Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.
- Install and configure new IT equipment.
- Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware.
- Maintain a first-class level of service, ensuring that all end users are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
- Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
- Be a highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 with an emphasis on Intune.
- Enjoys working with and helping people.
- Works well without supervision.
- Must be very conscientious about doing work carefully and accurately.
- Able to work unstructured schedules as needed and assume on-call duties on a rotating basis.

Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday – Friday, 8a – 4:30p
- On-call evening and weekend weekly rotations
