Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our law firm in Boca Raton, FL. This role requires a dedicated litigator with deep expertise in high-stakes commercial disputes and a track record of success in delivering results for clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in handling complex litigation matters from inception through trial or settlement, and have experience working in diverse industries, including real estate, healthcare, financial services, or corporate entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, business torts, partnership disagreements, fiduciary duty claims, and fraud allegations.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis, prepare pleadings, and draft comprehensive motions and briefs.
- Represent clients in all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborate with and advise clients on risk management, litigation strategies, case assessments, and the potential impact on business operations.
- Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel to facilitate pre-trial resolutions when beneficial.
- Oversee discovery processes, including drafting discovery requests, responding to opposing parties, and managing electronic discovery.
- Mentor and guide junior associates, paralegals, and support staff as necessary.
Requirements:
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to the Florida Bar.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation; trial experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research databases and case management software; strong grasp of electronic discovery processes and best practices.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills, strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multifaceted legal challenges.
- Client Service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach; able to communicate complex legal matters in an accessible manner.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
