What are the responsibilities and job description for the Table operator position at Glanbia?
Job Summary
Perform as the table operator in the cheese making process. Responsible for testing, addition of ingredients, and running of equipment associated with the tables.
Essential Functions
- Maintain records and paperwork accurately
- Take samples in a timely manner
- Communicate regularly with shift TL
- Ensure cheese quality meets customer specifications
- Make changes to table times as needed or as instructed
- Stay current with SOPs as equipment and process change
- Monitor equipment
- Take pH and Moisture on Cheese. Perform salt addition
- Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his / her own actions and conduct.
- Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Ability to operate or ability to learn how to operate the equipment
- Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment
- Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality
- Ability to walk and stand for entire shift if needed
- Ability to read and write instructions in English
- Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals
- Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required
- Desire to grow with the company
- Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
- Must be well organized
- Ability to troubleshoot
