Job Summary
The Regional Recruiting Manager is responsible for providing full cycle recruiting services and support to assigned markets as needed. Following the recruiting process/system and legal requirements, the position will network, prepare strategy, source and screen applicants for a variety of shop staff, glass technicians, operational management, sales professionals and call center level positions, as well as coordinate the hiring and selection process. This position is an individual contributor, managing relationships and requisitions without direct reports.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Develops and Executes Strategic Recruiting Plans:
Communicates regularly with HR, Operations and Sales teams regarding regarding goal alignment and achievement, recruitment process updates and changes, and internal customer alignment.
Proactively communicates with operational leadership to review staffing strategy, providing recommendations, and understanding recruiting needs.
Supports the staffing strategy both in person and remotely as directed by the recruiting needs.
Independently, researches, recommends, and uses established and new sources for active and passive candidates.
Posts open positions internally and on approved job boards. Using market and industry knowledge may recommend and utilize non-traditional posting opportunities
Reviews resumes/applications and pre-screens candidates, referring qualified candidates on to hiring managers. Tracks progress of candidates in process & handles administrative details.
Manages the offer process to ensure consistency, compliance with Glass America's policy & practice, and a high rate of acceptance.
Maintain candidate data in Workday, utilize current metrics, and compile related reports.
Company support and resources:
Strategize and collaborate with Human Resources to execute on corporate initiatives and projects.
Leverage analytics knowledge to generate reporting that highlights recruiting activity as well as HR metrics (retention, attrition, staffing levels, rolling reports, internal BI tools, etc).
Serve as our Talent Acquisition subject matter expert (SME), fostering relationships with decision makers and corporate centers of excellence (COE).
Manage and filter through requests for system HRIS support (initiate job changes, transfers, onboarding, etc).
Promotes and expands the teammate referral and alumni referral networks.
Identify local schools, community organizations or government agencies to source for candidates, attend career fairs, and/or participate in mentorship opportunities.
Independently work with internal and external partners to form and maintain “competitive intelligence” on competitors within the market and follows Glass America's guidelines on recruiting from competition.
Requirements, Skills & Knowledge:
4 years of Recruiting experience with knowledge of HR principles.
Willing to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state). Some overnight travel required.
Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems and Candidate Relationship Management systems, Workday highly preferred
Proficient in the use of Google email, docs, and presentation software
Full cycle recruiting experience highly preferred.
HRIS knowledge to include navigating backend system functionality to make ad-hoc changes.
Familiar and demonstrates knowledge of a variety of the HR concepts, practices, and procedures and partner with cross functional HR teams
Ability to identify and handle priority and/or sensitive issues with discretion and a commitment to confidentiality
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Effective written and verbal communication/interaction skills
Must have strong organizational skills
Compensation Details:
Salary range: $68,000 - $90,000 per year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
