About the Position
Glatfelter Claims Operations, a division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, is seeking a Summer Intern to provide general support to the claims team in its daily activities. Under supervision, this position will work on projects integral to the company's success. The day-to-day tasks may include:
- Learn the claim registration process and the claim system to provide support within the department
- Work on various process improvement projects, such as claim system enhancements process/workflow improvement
- Assist with the roll-out of online claim reporting, electronic fund transfers, and more
Through our internship process, Glatfelter continues our proud tradition of community involvement. Our summer interns will be immersed in corporate culture, included in shadowing and networking events, and enriched through career development seminars.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Achievement of a 3.0 or higher-grade point average.
- Someone who has the ability to work 30 hours per week, in a hybrid schedule from our York office location. Starting May 19 until August 8.
- Someone who is looking for a career in Insurance is preferred.
