Glenwood provides treatment and education services in the least restrictive setting, through a continuum of care, with the highest respect for individuals and families served. Glenwood leads the state in providing behavioral health care and educational services that are responsive and complementary to a continuum of care for persons with unique mental health disorders. Glenwood supports mental health and educational professionals and promotes research in these specialized areas.
The Adult Day Manager is responsible for monitoring Individuals served treatment plans; supervise and manage direct care staff. Other duties include completion of required administrative and individual-related paperwork, managing day-to-day administrative and programmatic tasks, providing after-hours on-call backup on a rotating basis for the division, and conducting regular staff meetings with program staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Manage daily operations of the assigned day program
- Create daily schedule of employees to meet DMH required ratios and needs of classroom with staff members. Adjust schedule as needed through the day.
- Ensure direct reports are meeting the supervision goals of the day center.
- Ensure direct reports are engaging with Individuals Served in order to facilitate completing the goals of the Plan of Care.
- Guide direct reports to complete the following:
- Provides information related to persons strengths, needs, and preferences prior to POC annual meeting. (For each person assigned.)
- Plan and implement varied age appropriate activities and instruction throughout the day (active treatment) to promote people’s learning new skills, choice, and achieving personal goals. Stimulate and build new and rewarding interests.
- Ensure that direct reports help people served realize their personal, community and vocational goals: where they want to work, interactions in the community, achieving personal goals.
- Oversee daily documentation; monthly reports, and billing.
- Assist with planning and completion of community outings for individuals served within guidelines established by DMH.
- Recruit, select, orient and train new employees on Glenwood policies and procedures
- Reminding/assisting client with self-administration of medications (with proper training)
- Transporting clients
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High School diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years’ experience as a supervisor, or administrator in a residential facility in healthcare or human services field
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
