Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer - Facility Siting with 5-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API RP 752, 753, and 756 implementations, as well as experience in quantitative risk assessment (QRA) interpretation. This role is responsible for evaluating and managing facility siting risks to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform building siting evaluations in accordance with API RP 752, 753, and 756 to assess and mitigate risks related to occupied buildings.
- Develop and implement building management procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain a facility-wide building register that includes all permanent structures, portable buildings, and temporary shelters (e.g., tents).
- Participate in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) to verify that all design and installation requirements are met before buildings are occupied.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and develop corrective action plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams , including process safety engineers and operations personnel, to ensure risk mitigation strategies are effectively implemented.
- Analyze and interpret QRA results to support decision-making related to facility siting and building management.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure continuous improvement in facility siting processes.
