Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure the smooth functioning of daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing financial software and public accounting practices. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the team, and facilitating effective communication within the office.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation to maintain financial accuracy.
- Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise to manage financial transactions and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all accounting practices.
- Maintain organized records of all financial documents and reports.
- Provide support for budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Train and supervise administrative staff as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of financial software and accounting principles, including GAAP.
- Experience with public accounting practices is preferred.
- Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry.
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is a must.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
