Position Summary:
The Bookkeeper will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our growing organization. Working closely with the Finance Coordinator and the broader Finance Team, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team in financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across all four clinic locations
· Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely and organized manner
· Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
· Assist in payroll entry and coordination with ADP
· Track expenses and categorize transactions in accordance with the company’s chart of accounts
· Prepare monthly financial reports for review by the Finance Coordinator
· Maintain documentation and proper filing of receipts, invoices, and other financial records
· Support quarterly and year-end financial audits and reviews
· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
· Collaborate with team leads and clinic managers to ensure timely submission of expense reports and purchasing documentation
· Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-location business
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ADP and Open Dental a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
