Business Development Manager
We are seeking an outgoing, passionate individual who loves to sell. The Business Development Manager will spearhead our sales efforts and cultivate lasting relationships with customers. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong existing network of potential clients. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our market presence, and building strong, long-lasting client relationships. This role demands a proactive, self-starting, results-oriented individual with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Utilize your established network to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
- Identify key contacts at potential client companies to establish and foster relationships, generate leads and earn new business.
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the commercial HVAC/Restoration sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing exceptional customer service to drive additional business.
- Provide excellent service to maintain a positive reputation for the business.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and ensure client satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Work with leadership to identify new services and new markets.
- Set revenue targets: Develop and execute a strategy to meet them.
Required Qualifications:
- Must reside in Maryland, Virginia or Washington, DC area.
- 5 years of experience in sales or business development roles.
- 5 years of experience in Plumbing/HVAC/Restoration business.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of Plumbing, HVAC, and Restoration industry.
- Strong existing network of potential clients, this network may include decision-makers with insurance agencies, plumbing or construction trades.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
Preferred Experience:
- Business development or sales experience in multi-family Plumbing, HVAC and Restoration industry.
