Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site security for school events, ensuring the safety of students, staff, and attendees through effective access control and perimeter and area security.

• Monitor entrances, exits, and event perimeters to prevent unauthorized access, manage crowd movement, and ensure crowd management/control measures are in place.

• Accompanied the student body and staff during off-campus events, offering travel security, conducting venue reconnaissance, and coordinating with event organizers to tailor security approaches.

• Perform pat downs/wanding to maintain a secure environment and uphold safety protocols.

• Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents or safety threats, and coordinate emergency response and communication with local law enforcement and emergency services.

• Conducted pre-event security assessments, collaborated with event organizers to implement adequate security measures, and provided real-time incident response during events.

• Serve as a visible and approachable presence to foster a safe and supportive environment for students and staff.

• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs, documenting all security activities, observations, and actions taken.

• Perform regular patrols during events, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks or hazards to ensure seamless event operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in relevant military, law enforcement, executive protection, or event security roles.

• Certifications:

o BSIS Guard Card

o Appropriate Use of Force or Weapons of Mass Destruction Certification

o Powers to Arrest Certification

o First Aid, CPR, and AED for Adults, Children, and Infants

• Risk and Threat Management: Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, threat mitigation, and defensive tactics.

• Physical and Mental Readiness: High physical fitness, mental resilience, and strong decision-making skills.

• Communication Skills: Proficient in verbal and written communication, ensuring precise, concise, and professional interactions.

• Reporting Skills: Ability to create thorough, accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities supporting client needs.

• Conflict Resolution: Proven experience handling conflicts with a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and de-escalation techniques.
