About GTT

About the role - you will:
- Serves as point of contact to employees, managers, other HR Staff, vendors, and other external third parties in the Americas to provide information regarding HR processes, procedures, programs, and service offerings
- Serve as a first-line customer-facing Point of Contact for a variety of centralized and standardized customer services.
- Answer incoming phone calls, chats, emails, and in-person contacts, and provide transaction-based human resources support services to customers of HR Central, a centralized human resources employee support center, while aiming for the highest level of customer satisfaction through "first call/contact resolution”.
- Use discretion to escalate as needed
- Enter, review, and approve transactions in SAP SuccessFactors
- Administer I-9 processes for new employees and reverifications
- Process verifications of employment
- Effectively utilize a variety of documented procedures and technology tools to manage and coordinate the administrative processing and execution of assigned time-sensitive HR process activities and transactions.
- This includes following procedures on routine work, but also to being innovative within assigned responsibilities
- Focus on confidentiality and maintaining personal data privacy is essential for all work assignments
- Perform other human resource support tasks, including some that may require judgment to resolve issues or to recommend a specific customer response
- Collaborate within the local and global HR Central teams to provide high-quality customer products across client.
- Support local, regional, and global projects to improve HR processes, services, and systems
Required Skills About You:
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated experience in working as an active team member who is ready to help as needed; experience interacting with employees and managers as well as external parties, serving as primary contact point regarding HR customer service functions.
- Excellent customer service skills with demonstrated ability to engage and interact with customers in a proactive, friendly, professional, and respectful manner at all times; ability to focus on high customer satisfaction through first contact resolution, response, and escalation protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organizational skills with the ability to document, modify, and maintain detailed and accurate procedures for tasks.
- Ability to use excellent judgment and exercise discretion in carrying out duties related to confidential matters.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and open to change, with the ability to work with minimal limited direction on assigned tasks and assignments.
- Willing to work flexible shifts ending as late as 7 pm CT as well as weekends and holidays as needed.
Your experience includes:
- Working in an HRIS system (SAP SuccessFactors preferred)
- Working with customers to handle a variety of HR issues
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
