About the Role: Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I to join our team. As a PSR I, you will be the face of our company to patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accurate and efficient blood draws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality blood draws from patients of all ages, following established procedures and maintaining a safe and professional environment.
- Prepare blood specimens for lab testing and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining procedures to patients and building trust and confidence.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality, accuracy, and safety.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities and maintaining a high volume of blood draws.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification is preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum 6 months of experience (1 years preferred) in phlebotomy.
- Strong customer service skills in a retail or service environment.
- Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.
