KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
NYC Office Leadership & Growth
- Oversee all aspects of the NYC Commissioning Office operations, including business development, project management, team leadership, and profitability.
- Drive strategic direction and growth of the NYC Commissioning Business while aligning with corporate objectives.
- Implement innovative processes and industry best practices to optimize project execution and enhance client satisfaction.
- Manage the financial performance of projects, ensuring profitability while balancing workload across the company's Commissioning team.
- Develop new business opportunities, track market trends, and position the team to expand market share.
- Lead proposal development and fee estimation for new projects, ensuring competitive and strategic pricing.
- Stay ahead of industry advancements, ensuring the latest technologies and training are available to the team.
Project & Financial Management
- Manage the financial health and performance of all office projects, tracking budgets, revenue projections, and profitability.
- Provide hands-on project leadership, ensuring quality execution, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact on key projects.
- Conduct pre-bid meetings and support business development efforts through client engagement and networking.
- Lead strategic planning efforts, analyzing market trends and competition to enhance business positioning.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent to support business growth.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to ensure high-quality project execution and professional development of team members.
- Oversee day-to-day team activities, ensuring efficient workload distribution and adherence to quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture that prioritizes teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (master's degree or MBA preferred)
- Commissioning Certification from AEE, BCA, ASHRAE, or ACG
- 10 years of progressive experience in engineering, construction, or commissioning management
- Experience managing large-scale, multi-faceted projects
- P.E., MBA, or other industry-recognized certifications preferred
