Our client, a leading engineering and consulting firm located in Camden County, NJ, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Mechanical Engineering Manager to join their Power & Infrastructure Department. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead Engineering & Project Execution – Serve as the technical lead for large capital energy projects, overseeing all design aspects and ensuring compliance with project objectives, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage Design Teams & Technical Oversight – Supervise mechanical engineers, conduct peer reviews, and ensure technical excellence across all project deliverables.
- Hands-On Project Management – Regularly review project plans, budgets, and timelines, adjusting staffing and resources to ensure projects stay on track and within budget.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication, top-tier service, and strong long-term relationships.
- Cross-Disciplinary Coordination – Work collaboratively with internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Business Development & Proposal Management – Support the VP of the group in responding to RFPs, developing proposals, contracts, and cost estimates, and securing new business opportunities.
- Financial Oversight – Ensure accurate project accounting, including timely invoicing, project setup, and compliance with financial policies.
- Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership – Represent the firm at industry conferences, contribute to business development initiatives, and promote engineering excellence in power and infrastructure.
