About the Role:
Core Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and address potential risks, roadblocks, and opportunities to improve project delivery
- Develop and maintain the project plan, resource assignments, task board (JIRA) and risk / mitigation plan per the SOW
- Collaborate with internal team leads to estimate and translate / breakdown requirements into actionable tasks
- Book resources on jobs and collaborate with other PMs to negotiate booking conflicts per immediate priorities
- Facilitate client, internal project team and/or vendor meetings
- Ensure deliverables meet strategic, timeline and financial objectives as defined in the SOW and associated estimation sheet
- Verify that delivered documents, features and products meet rigorous standards of quality
- Keep key stakeholders apprised of project status, risks, and mitigation plans
- On development projects: help gather/coordinate requirements, plan team Sprints and run effective daily stand-ups
- Document lessons learned from milestone retros and implement continuous improvement plans into the next phase
- Supports cross-functional teams with writing JIRA stories, managing epics, and managing releases as needed
- Manages team tasks (in JIRA and in our resource management software) to ensure that team members are assigned tasks, appropriately scheduled, and actively working towards milestones. Prioritizes the resolution of project blockers
Qualifications:
- 5 years of project and/or account management experience deeply integrated in the delivery team within a digital agency or marketing team. Previous client management or agency experience a must
- Experience working with account managers, strategists, business analysts and UX/Design teams is required
- Scrum Master or Product Manager experience is highly desirable. Understanding of web design and technologies preferred
- Deep passion and ambition to lead large scale digital transformation and/or cross functional digital programs and projects
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing complex governance structures
- Experience working with global teams and managing projects across different time zones and cultures preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, Salesforce, or similar enterprise CMS systems
- Experience with analytics platforms (GA4, Adobe Analytics) is preferred
- Equally comfortable creating waterfall project plans (e.g. MS Project or Smartsheet) and Agile product roadmaps
- Experienced in managing comprehensive UAT processes, including:
- Creating and maintaining test plans and documentation
- Setting up testing environments and procedures
- Coordinating testing efforts across multiple stakeholders
- Managing defect tracking and resolution processes
- Able to simultaneously execute multiple projects across engagement types: strategic, creative, and development
- Responsible for the financial input, project execution and estimation for projects with budgets $250k
- Experience utilizing various project management methodologies, tools and techniques including Agile
- Highly effective facilitation, organizational and interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills
- Successfully manage client expectations, articulate project risks, complex digital solutions and/or processes in a simple and engaging way (both internally and clientside), highly organized and strong attention to details
- Strong ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to organizational improvement initiatives
