Position Summary :
The Industrial Engineering Intern is responsible for supporting projects and operations of various CNC machining centers in order to facilitate production. This effort includes, but is not limited to, assists in the development of processes for manufacturing in accordance with ISO-13485. This individual works with department managers, supervisors, and operators to ensure production is running smoothly.
Essential Functions :
Conducts time studies to verify the cycle times for our various products
Conducts audits to verify the in-house processes of our various products
Assists with data collection and data analysis
Assists with uploading of corrected data into the new system
Provides process improvement suggestions based on time study findings to upper management
Maintains efficiency of production thru machine and process improvement
Ensures quality objectives while controlling costs
Follows deadlines and maintaining production schedules
Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications :
Enrolled in an undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree program in an Engineering related field.
Be well organized and possesses the ability to multi-task as required
Team player, open to new ideas and teamwork, self-motivated individual, willingness to increase personal knowledge and value.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
