Your Contributions to the Team:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant, who will serve as a primary contact point for accounting related tasks within the organization and manage a variety of accounting functions, to include preparing and recording journal entries, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting functions of Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. The typical work week for this full time salaried role is Monday Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or as needed. Job duties include:

• Reconciles accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Analyzes financial statements for discrepancies
• Generates and analyzes financial records and data for the organization
• Identifies errors and provides suggestions and potential solutions that would improve efficiency and spending
• Prepares and enters journal entries
• Tracks wires and prepayments to suppliers and invoices for product/PO payments
• Processes payments and adjustments within accounts
• Provides support with other Accounts Receivable functions
• Provides backup support for Accounts Payable and Payroll
• Assists with preparation of company financial and tax reports and reconciliations
• Audit, bank exam and inventory compilation for external parties

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline, preferred. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 2 years of experience performing full cycle accounting, in a manufacturing setting, strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Excel (calculate data using formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, create and formatting spreadsheets)
• 2 years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to review and suggest modifications to existing accounting systems and procedures, for the improvement of the financial sector of the company
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced typing and 10 key speed and accuracy; strong data entry skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-driven; highly organized; ability to prioritize workflow
• Exceptional customer service and follow through
