What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Coordinator position at Gloster Furniture?
General Description:
The Sales Coordinator operates out of the Gloster showroom and supports the sales team servicing the A&D and Dealer Partner community. The Sales Coordinator is an integral member of the sales team and a key component in the day-to-day operation of the showroom and support of this regions sales representatives and partners.
Essential Function/Duties:
- Act as the first point of contact to qualify clients on the phone and in person
- Liaise with client service and the sales team to assist with client's needs
- Assist clients on the floor in a positive, and proactive manner when Sales Representatives are otherwise occupied
- Administrative sales & order support including extensive quote writing, revision, and order processing
- Partner with the sales team through management of client information including lead generation, data entry and CRM database management
- Maintain the day-to-day operation and brand standard of the showroom including the opening and closing routine, ordering office supplies, and maintaining the sample library.
- Arrange all shipments in and out of the showroom, including daily sample requests, furniture deliveries and year-end inventory
- Support the Assistant Manager and Regional Manager on special projects and events in the region.
- Help the region achieve and exceed their yearly Trade and Partner sales goals.
Skills/Qualifications:
- College degree preferred, preferably in a creative field, business, or marketing
- Experience in administrative support, marketing, customer service, or design greatly preferred
- Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and display ability to learn new technologies and programs
- Must have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented and organized, specifically related to paperwork
- Willing to be flexible and adapt to new responsibilities or tasks as needed
- An interest in sales and design is a plus
- Polished, professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to excel in high stress, time-sensitive industry with demanding clientele.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times and move furniture up to 20 pounds.
