Overview
We are seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the company's financial records, including maintaining financial reports, performing bank reconciliations, and managing accounts receivable and payable. The days and hours for this position are somewhat flexible.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial records
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Execute journal entries and maintain general ledger
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable duties
- Conduct budgeting and assist in financial planning
- Utilize Xero or similar accounting software for bookkeeping tasks
Skills
- Proficiency in financial concepts and GAAP
- Experience with governmental accounting is a plus
- Strong knowledge of budgeting principles
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations efficiently
- Skilled in journal entries and maintaining accurate records
- Familiarity with Xero or similar accounting software
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in financial data recording
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
