Summary

Perform support to managers, other employees, and office visitors by handling a variety of tasks in order to ensure that all interactions between the organization and others are positive and productive.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for VPC operations. Phone calls, receiving / directing visitors, filing, faxing, handling mail Generating ad-hoc reports Organize and schedule meetings and appointments Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports Cover the reception desk when required
  • Provide schedules and procure resources necessary for hosting meetings with customers / vendors at the VPC. Responsible for food / refreshments for these meetings.

Ensure all multimedia resources are available and operating. Provide suggestions for lodging and / or entertainment for out-of-town visitors Provide assistance for any other special requests / conferences at the VPC

Compose correspondence and develop spreadsheets as requested Use computers to generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.

Fields inquiries from the regional distribution and sales offices, fleet departments, and other various Hyundai departments Respond to phone and e-mail communications from customers regarding VPC operating schedules Assist VPC Logistics Analyst and / or Operations staff in responding to inquiries on processing and / or shipping statuses of vehicles Research and creates presentations

  • Safely Shuttle Drive as needed
  • Maintain / Follow-up deadlines for projects.
  • Required to provide project management assistance by communicating with vendors on a regular basis to ensure that work is performed as contracted, etc.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications

Skills

  • Must have excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Attention to detail, discretion, and multi-tasking
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma / G.E.D.
  • 4 years experience in multiple industrial trades

This position works in a plant manufacturing / warehouse setting.
