Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Warranty Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the warranty claims process. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient warranty administration, maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors, and working closely with internal teams to uphold high service standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive parts warranty management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:Warranty Administration & Claims Processing:
- Oversee the warranty claim process from initiation to resolution, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Review and evaluate warranty claims to determine eligibility and compliance with company policies.
- Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate claim approvals, replacements, or reimbursements.
- Maintain and update warranty policies to align with industry standards and company goals.
- Track and analyze warranty claim trends to identify potential product issues or areas for improvement.
Customer Service & Support:
- Provide clear and professional communication to customers regarding warranty claims, policies, and resolutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated warranty issues, ensuring prompt and fair resolutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal sales teams to streamline warranty processing.
Process Improvement & Compliance:
- Implement best practices for warranty claim processing and documentation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer and vendor warranty policies.
- Collaborate with the quality control and product development teams to address recurring warranty concerns and improve product reliability.
- Train and educate staff on warranty policies, claim procedures, and customer service best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in automotive parts warranty management or a related field.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of powertrain components (engines, transmissions, differentials, etc.) and automotive warranty procedures.
- Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in warranty management systems and CRM software.
- Ability to handle difficult customer interactions with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications: ASE certification or other relevant industry credentials.
