Budtenders are responsible for welcoming customers, educating them on our wide variety of cannabis products, and providing a top-tier retail experience. Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong understanding of cannabis products, strains, and cannabis culture.
- Educate and assist customers to help them find the right products for their needs.
- Check IDs and ensure all customer interactions comply with OLCC rules and regulations.
- Operate the POS system accurately; handle and count cash with reliability.
- Support a clean and welcoming store environment.
- Follow all store procedures for opening, closing, inventory, and sales.
- Sample and review products to build product knowledge.
- Answer phones and greet walk-in customers in a professional, friendly manner.
- Maintain a clean and functional workspace, participating in all cleaning activities.
- Foster a warm and friendly vibe with the team and customer base.

Requirements
- Reliable transportation or consistent access to public transit.
- Willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit or proof of submitted application.
- (Proof means you’ve taken the test and submitted your application in the OLCC system.)
