We are a full-service staffing agency seeking an experienced Service Writer / Advisor for our client. In this role, you will serve as the essential link between customers and repair technicians, ensuring that all work orders are processed accurately and efficiently while promoting a positive image of the company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Customer Interaction : Answer incoming calls and warmly greet walk-in customers in the Service Department.
- Appointment Scheduling : Schedule service appointments and collect customer and vehicle information prior to their arrival.
- Repair Order Management : Prepare, open, maintain, and close repair orders; document customer vehicle problems clearly and accurately.
- Service Recommendations : Refer to service history and inspect vehicles to recommend additional services as needed.
- Quoting Repairs : Provide customers with comprehensive and accurate quotes, including repair timelines, and obtain pre-approval for any changes.
- Customer Communication : Update customers on the status of repairs and explain all charges clearly.
- Follow-Up Program : Maintain a follow-up program for service repairs and inform customers about parts ordered for warranty repairs.
- Dispatch Coordination : Work with technicians to coordinate dispatching and ensure timely service delivery.
