ABOUT THE ROLE
As a New Business Development Specialist on our Sales team, you will own the responsibility of identifying contacts and decision makers of targeted prospects and past customers using Salesforce and research. You will also have the opportunity to present GOBankingRates solutions through various channels such as email, LinkedIn, and phone calls. Your role will involve setting up meetings for Account Executives to lead and determine advertiser goals and opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking profiles and opportunities in Salesforce to share weekly efforts and results, making a significant impact on the growth and success of our company.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. Pay offered may vary within the posted range based on a number of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Leverage online tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, CRM systems, company websites) to research and identify decision-makers and key points of contact from a provided list of target companies.
- Create and implement tailored outreach strategies across email, phone, and social media to effectively engage prospective clients and spark interest in company offerings.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings between Account Executives (AEs) and identified prospects, ensuring seamless handoffs and alignment.
- Prepare detailed materials and background information for AEs to facilitate productive and insightful client meetings.
- Confirm scheduled meetings and ensure timely follow-ups to maintain strong communication and engagement with prospects.
- Accurately document and update prospect interactions and activities within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and easy access for the team.
- Track and report lead progress by monitoring opportunities, providing regular updates, and highlighting key trends.
- Support sales reporting and forecasting efforts by compiling and analyzing Salesforce data to provide actionable insights.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to uncover new prospects and identify opportunities to expand the pipeline.
